As you can see from the long list of recently added pictures, I finally got around to posting my spring break photos. Most of the photos are from our trip to the Great Sand Dunes National Monument and the Royal Gorge. I also managed to get a few shots of yet another great sunset in front of our house.

That was probably the most exciting part of break, though I did finally get my new car as well. It's a Civic, but it's a year newer than my old Civic, and with just over half the miles. I did have to get a new stereo for it, though, as my dad was living in the stone age with a tape deck. Anyway, Progressive is great - just a few clicks, and I was able to switch insurance to the new car, and for a difference of a whopping six dollars. I don't have the title to the car yet, though I am hoping to get that this summer, and then possibly get pioneer plates, since it looks like I will be in Colorado for a while.

Sadly, this break, like all others, has gone by much too quickly. I have gotten to do only a fraction of the things I wished to over break, and it's not looking like much else is going to be done before I leave on Sunday. Tomorrow, we are celebrating my dad's 50th birthday, and then I am leaving early on Sunday to head back for the great plains. Worse still, I am only going to be home for a week in May, and then I am going back to the corn fields again to start my MBA.

I did manage to get a few things done, however. I am now a T-Mobile customer, and my other phones are ready to go up on eBay when I get back to school on Monday. I also went out to dinner with Sarah, Jim, Scott, Chris, and Carrie on Wednesday. We had a great meal at the Cricket in Cherry Creek, followed by a magnificent desert in the lobby of Carrie's sister's apartment. Happy birthday, Sarah! I also managed to fix my grandmother's computer; it turned out to be a loose cable. Then there were all of the various little things - oil change, hair cut, dentist, etc. So, I guess that while this break wasn't to any place exotic, I am glad that I got the chance to come home and see family and friends.
